Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights

Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights takes place every Thursday in downtown Chelsea. Local musicians, street performers and food vendors line the sidewalks, and local merchants stay open late.
In keeping with this quarter's theme, Homeless, not Helpless, we will be hosting representatives from various local agencies that work with the homeless. The schedule:
- July 17th: Alpha House
- July 24th/25/26: Presenting the HUV (Homeless Utility Vehicle) - designed by Stephen Mills (this includes Summerfest)
- July 31: Cass Community Center, Detroit
- Also coming: SOS of Ypsilanti, Shelter Assn. of Washtenaw County, Jackson Interfaith Shelter
