The Mission Marketplace

After nearly five years at our home on Main Street,

The Mission Marketplace has moved.

We're now at 115 W. Middle Street - come check us out!

Thanks to Chelsea's Yellow Door for their fund-raiser to defray moving costs!

From our old location on Main St., walk 1/2 block north to Middle St., turn left, walk another 1/2 block until you see our prayer flags, our friendly frog and our new friend Bob Barley, the Mission Marketplace Peace Crane.

The Mission Marketplace is a nonprofit, volunteer-supported, community marketplace that sells many handcrafted items made by economically impoverished people in developing regions of the world. We at The Mission Marketplace believe that each village in the world represents a unique, distinctive group of people. Our goal is to create economic opportunities for craftspeople around the world through the practice of Fair Trade and attempt to increase global understanding by telling these talented artisans’ stories. The Mission Marketplace is a non-profit organization that welcomes donations to underwrite our educational mission.

The Mission Marketplace is located at 115 West Middle Street in Chelsea. Parking is available on the street, in a municipal lot just behind the store, and in a municipal lot on the North side of Main Street.
